“Today would have been my Grandad Ray’s 81st Birthday. Ray was a much-loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad – he had a brilliant sense of humour, the cheekiest grin and gave the best bear hugs. We wanted to Pay for a Day of care in memory of Grandad today, as we will be forever grateful for the care that St Cuthbert’s gave him during his time there. They really helped make the most difficult time for our family a little bit more bearable. We’ve included a photo of sunflowers alongside the photos of him as they were his favourite flower and they remind all of my family of him.”
All day today, for twenty-four whole hours, our Living Well Centre costs have been donated in loving memory of Ray Thompson with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation. We are extremely grateful for this special donation in his memory.
