“Today, 28 November 2023, is Sue Butters’ 85th birthday. It’s hard to believe that 507 days have gone by without her. It’s difficult to put into words how much she is missed by all who knew her.
Sue was the most amazing wife to her husband Joe; the most caring mother to her three children, James, Judith & Jane; and the most incredible Nan to her five grandchildren, Amy, Sophie, Emily, James & Hannah.
Sue had the most charitable nature, and it’s for that very reason that her family continue to raise money for St Cuthbert’s Hospice, it’s just what she would have wanted.
Sue passed away peacefully at the Hospice on 9th July 2022. As a family, we wanted to thank everyone at the Hospice for making the time spent there so comfortable, for all of us. We couldn’t have asked for better – you are real Earth Angels.”
All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our full clinical running costs have been donated in loving memory of Sue Butters with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation. We are extremely grateful for this special donation in Sue’s memory.
