All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our full clinical running costs have been donated in loving memory of Robert Alderson with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation. 💚
We are extremely grateful for this special donation in Robert’s memory and his brother Norman has kindly shared these words with us:
“Today marks the first anniversary of Robert’s passing on 24th January 2023. Devoted husband of Pauline, much loved dad of Graeme, Richard and Gregory, father in law to Susie, Rosie and Angie and a treasured grandad. Robert is sadly missed by all his family and many friends.
Not a day goes by where we do not think about Robert and of happy memories shared. I would like to thank everybody who has supported Pauline and the family over the year.
Robert was managing director of Alderson Building Services who are well known throughout the Durham area and have been established for over 100 years.
Although Robert was not a patient at St Cuthbert’s Hospice we are well aware of the wonderful loving care and attention which patients receive whilst at the hospice and we are sure that Robert would be delighted that we have sponsored a day in his memory. “
