All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our full clinical running costs have been donated in loving memory of David Cartner with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation. David’s nieces Natalie and Zoe, and his sister in law Andrea ran the Great North Run last year in his memory and raised over £6,000!
We are extremely grateful for this special donation in David’s memory. Below are some words that his family have kindly shared with us:
“David was a special type of person; he got along with everyone he met, would be the first to offer a helping hand and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Today would have been his 63rd birthday which no doubt would be spent laughing with friends and family over a pint.”
