St Cuthbert’s Hospice provide free care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and people that are bereaved.

We care for, laugh with, listen to, comfort and help make special memories for thousands of individuals and families each year.

Our care teams can support people at any stage, from diagnosis, to living well with their illness to their last days. Whether it’s helping with pain relief, supporting a loved one or just being there to listen, we understand that sometimes it’s the little things that can make the biggest difference.

Hospice care is quite unlike many other types of care. Our teams treat everyone as an individual, spend time learning what is important to them and focusing on delivering care suited to their wishes.

Every single one of the staff we met were wonderful, all of you unique, but you fitted together into a jigsaw puzzle of support and calm. The Hospice is a haven when you are at your most in need.
