Ken donates Olympic Torch
Retired Fireman Ken Allday, 89, has donated one of his most prized possessions, his 2012 Olympic Torch, to us at St Cuthbert’s Hospice. Ken lost his soul mate Joan to cancer in 2010 when she died peacefully at our Hospice and he credits our team for keeping him going all the years since.

Forth to St Cuth’s Challenge
In August, a group of friends will walk 220 miles from the Forth Road Bridge just outside of Edinburgh to St Cuthbert’s Hospice, Durham.
Kelly reaches 1.6 million steps!
Kelly Betteridge and her family are celebrating after clocking up 1.6 million steps between them during April, raising over £540 for the Hospice in memory of her mam Joyce Lovack.
