We would like to say a huge thank you to Brenda Flowers and Steven Harrison (Secretary of the NE and NW Professional Golf Association Golf Association) for calling along to see us today to present a cheque for £3424 to the Hospice.
The money was raised at the annual ‘Tom Flowers Memorial Pro Am’ held at Ramside Hall Golf Club on Wednesday the 7th June, where 27 teams took part in Tom’s memory.
Tom Flowers was the former secretary of the NE and NW Professional Golf Association and Director of Golf at Ramside Hall Golf Club. His connection to the Hospice began over 30 years ago when he organised a fundraising golf tournament to support the purchase of a patient transport vehicle, and it is wonderful to think that his friends and family are still able to think of us today and fundraise in his memory.
Brenda and Steven would like to thank everyone who supported the day, including those who donated prizes to their raffle and auction and with special thanks to Fabio from La Spaghettata for his kind donation and Ramside Hall Golf Club for helping to make the day a success!
