St Cuthbert’s Hospice Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 13th October, 2016. Our annual report and accounts for 2015-16 were approved by the Members and can be viewed here. Members also agreed to amend the constitution of the Charity to reflect the community work and education work we are continuing to develop. After the AGM there was an opportunity to celebrate recent successes at the Hospice including the Gold Award in Northumbria in Bloom, the Charity Governance Award and the Charity Times HR Management Award. We also celebrated the long service of many of our volunteers, recognising their fantastic commitment to the Hospice and enjoyed fascinating insights from Professor Tim Lovel, a former Board member and retired Palliative Care Consultant, and Alex Nelson, Chairman of The Clothworkers Company.
