Jigsaw Project Fun Day

The Jigsaw Project at St Cuthbert’s Hospice supports children and young people who are experiencing grief, loss and bereavement. This may be because of life-limiting illnesses and palliative care or an unexpected or sudden death including suicide, road traffic accidents, murder and anticipatory grief.

Marks & Spencer Staff Remember Colleague with Keep on Caring Donation

We launched our Keep on Caring appeal in September to help us raise funds towards items we very much need at the Hospice, but have had to put on hold due to the drop in fundraising we have experienced throughout the pandemic. We were really touched when the team at Marks & Spencer Arnison Centre told us that they had raised a huge sum they wanted to donate to the appeal in memory of someone close to their hearts.

Ken donates Olympic Torch

Retired Fireman Ken Allday, 89, has donated one of his most prized possessions, his 2012 Olympic Torch, to us at St Cuthbert’s Hospice. Ken lost his soul mate Joan to cancer in 2010 when she died peacefully at our Hospice and he credits our team for keeping him going all the years since.
