When will Ian reach 1 million?
Ian Watt, dedicated volunteer and 5p collector, has counted his 944,000th five pence piece collected for St Cuthbert’s. That’s a staggering £47,100! He is well on his way to reaching his goal of 1 million little silver coins and hopes to reach this by autumn. Hundreds of people each year join Ian in his search for 5p coins and help keep the momentum going.
If you’d like to join Ian on his quest to reach 1,000,000 coins, simply collect them up and bring them into the Hospice. We could even send you a little collection box to start saving them in if you like. Just let us know.
Every last one of the 5p coins goes towards the free services that St Cuthbert’s provide in County Durham.
