We're delighted to be chosen as this year's Charity Partner of the Durham Fringe Festival. Whilst we're not organising the festival, we wanted to let you know about it as it's sure to bring lots of fun to Durham!
Durham Fringe Festival returns 24th – 28th July, with eight performance spaces over seven venues, and over 250 shows across five days. There’s something for everyone including theatre, magic, spoken word, music, cabaret, comedy, and daytime family shows. This year, with the support of partners including Dance City, the festival has an additional focus on movement and dance, which will be presented in the Fonteyn Ballroom in Dunelm House.
The Fringe is a unique opportunity to experience a wide range of shows over five days in the stunning and historic city of Durham. Audiences will have the option of making a night of it with our three-show Discover ticket, or taking in something for the whole family with our discounted family tickets.
The festival is developed and run by Durham Fringe CIC – a team of local people who love fringe festivals and believe we can build a brilliant one in Durham City.
This year’s venues are: Palace Green, Assembly Rooms Theatre, Cafedral, Fabios, Durham City Theatre, The Pemberton Rooms:Palace Green, the Fonteyn Ballroom and Vane Tempest at Dunelm House.
Tickets go on sale from in May via the Durham Fringe website www.durhamfringe.co.uk
