All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our In Patient Unit costs have been donated in loving memory of Rosemary Cleasby with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation. 💚

In April of this year, Rosemary’s youngest daughter Alexandrea completed the London Marathon in memory of her Mam, raising money for the Hospice.

We are extremely grateful for this special donation and below we share below the loving words of Rosemary’s family:

“Our dear Mam Rosemary, a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Auntie and Grandmother.

A beautiful person, always happy, caring, and would go out of her way to help others.

Mam loved her music. Her passion for music started at a very young age. Entertaining many a crowd as a cabaret singer back in the day. Covering the very popular north east “Club Circuit” from that era.

Later on in her life a member of the Durham Operatic Society, taking part in shows at the Gala Theatre, Durham.

In December 2010, Mam, Rosemary, spent 3 weeks at St Cuthbert’s Hospice receiving end of life care.

As a family, we were extremely grateful for the support and kindness from all the team at St Cuthbert’s. The Hospice is truly remarkable and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
