In Memory of Elaine Patterson

All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our Living Well Centre costs have been donated in loving memory of Elaine Patterson with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation.

“Today would have been Elaine’s 61st birthday, so paying for this day feels like a wonderful way to celebrate.

She was an amazingly lovely and caring person who’s world centered on her family, especially her grandchildren. She had attended the Living Well Centre for many years, she enjoyed the arts and crafts sessions making memory boxes and gifts for family and friends. She was very nervous to attend her first session but Joanne and the other staff put her at ease straight away. She always looked forward to her visits to the Hospice.

Elaine spent her last weeks in the Hospice, being looked after by the most fabulous staff. We couldn’t have asked for more from them, they not only looked after Elaine they looked after us too.

All of the support and care Elaine received made it an easy decision on who to support when fundraising. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for the care you provided to our family.”
