All day today, for twenty-four whole hours, our full clinical running costs have been donated in loving memory of David Endean with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation.
David’s family told us: “David would have celebrated his 63rd Birthday today. He was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a fun, loving & proud Dad, Husband, Son and Brother with a great sense of humour. He was always up for a laugh, had a kind word for everyone with a beaming smile and a funny one liner. He was an avid Newcastle United fan, loved music and walking our family of Golden Retrievers, David truly was a “one in a million”.
The Pay for a Day donation was raised by friends and family at a celebration of David’s life, “A Night for En” – a night to remember David (En as he was known to his many friends). It was a truly special night for an incredibly amazing person – he would have loved every minute, no doubt with microphone in hand singing “Ruby”!
We can’t thank St Cuthbert’s and the lovely staff enough for the care given to David and the support we received as a family. It really is a special place.”
